Most of our residential work falls into a few familiar categories. Homeowners call about grass that has thinned out under a live oak or burned off along a south-facing curb. Beds that were installed with the house are tired and need to be re-cut, weeded, replanted and mulched. Shrubs have outgrown the windows. A backyard has gone unmaintained for a season and needs a full cleanup before anything else can happen. We handle each of those as a defined project with a written scope, not a vague hourly promise.
Plant selection matters here more than most people expect. We lean on material that performs in North Texas heat and periodic drought restrictions — dwarf yaupon, Texas sage, abelia, muhly grass, crape myrtle and seasonal color rotated in spring and fall. Mulch gets replaced rather than simply topped off, so beds hold moisture through July instead of baking. Sod is graded and prepared before it goes down, because sod installed over compacted clay rarely takes.
